On Friday, 21st October 2016, the opening of the exhibition organized by the Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade University, entitled 'Belgrade School of Architecture - Visions for Szczecin and Poznań' will be held in the Forma Architects Gallery. It accompanies the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture. At the same time, it is an introduction to this year's Westival Art of Architecture, organized by the Szczecin Branch of the Association of Polish Architects.

The topic of the exhibition is particularly valid for Szczecin. A key part is placed by urban visions developed by professors and students from the Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade University, and covering islands of Łasztownia, Grodzka, Kępa Parnicka, as well as districts of Dąbie and ¦ródmieście. The first part of the exhibition includes designs developed during the International Architecture Open Air Event organized by the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) under the auspices of EUROSAG in 1990s and at the turn of the 21st c. Authors include professors Dimitrije Mladenovic, Petar Arsic, Vladan Djokic and Zoran Djukanovic. The second part comprises designs by students from Belgrade developed under the mentorship of Prof. Petara Arsica in 2014-2015. The designs focus on the area of Międzyodrze in Szczecin. Finally, the third part of the exhibition consists of designs applicable to the city of Poznań developed in recent years under the tutelage of Prof. Vladana Djokica.

W piątek 21 paĽdziernika 2016 r. w Galeria Architektów Forma odbędzie się wernisaż wystawy opracowanej przez Wydział Architektury Uniwersytetu Belgradzkiego, pt.: „Belgrade School of Architecture – Visions for Szczecin and Poznań”. Wystawa towarzyszy obchodom Jubileuszu 70-lecia Wydziału Budownictwa i Architektury. Jest również elementem prologu do tegorocznego Westivalu Sztuka Architektury, organizowanego przez szczeciński oddział Stowarzyszenia Architektów Polskich.

Tematyka wystawy jest szczególnie aktualna dla Szczecina. Kluczową częścią są wizje urbanistyczne profesorów i studentów z Wydziału Architektury Uniwersytetu Belgradzkiego na zagospodarowanie Łasztowni, Wyspy Grodzkiej, Kępy Parnickiej, a także rejonów Dąbia i śródmieścia. Pierwsza część ekspozycji obejmuje projekty opracowane w ramach Międzynarodowych Plenerów Architektonicznych organizowanych przez SARP pod auspicjami EUROSAG w latach 90. i na przełomie 21. wieku. Autorzy to m.in. profesorowie Dimitrije Mladenovic, Petar Arsic, Vladan Djokic i Zoran Djukanovic. Druga część to: projekty studentów z Belgradu opracowane pod kierunkiem prof. Petara Arsica w latach 2014-2015, dotyczące szczecińskiego Międzyodrza. Trzecia część ekspozycji obejmuje projekty dotyczące miasta Poznań, wykonane w ostatnich latach pod kierunkiem prof. Vladana Djokica.

University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture. As one of the oldest faculties within University of Belgrade (the first architecture study programme was introduced in 1846), we are the leading school for studies in architecture and urbanism in the region for 170 years running. Today the Faculty of Architecture has a great tradition and reputation, and its presence gives an unusual mix of strengths from which to incubate new programmes that bring architecture and urbanism together with arts and humanities.
